1) Open your DAW and create a new instrument or MIDI track. On that track, load your Ugritone drum plugin (e.g., KVLT Drums, RIOT Drums, Northern Artillery). The plugin may show up under the name “Ugritone” or the name of the product.

If the plugin doesn’t appear, make sure it’s installed correctly, rescan your plugin folders in the DAW’s settings, and restart the DAW.
2) Once the plugin is loaded, you should see the drum interface. You can trigger drum sounds by clicking the elements inside the plugin, using a MIDI controller, or entering MIDI notes manually in your DAW’s MIDI editor. For example, C1 typically triggers a kick drum and D1 triggers a snare.
3) To start building a beat, insert a MIDI clip on the track and enter your desired drum hits. Press play in your DAW to hear the pattern.
4) Use the interface to can adjust drum levels, mic positions, and switch kits or presets. You can also add effects within the plugin or through your DAW’s mixer.

If you’re not hearing any sound, make sure the track is armed or enabled, your MIDI input is functioning, and your notes are within the correct range. If the plugin doesn’t load properly or the interface appears blank, try reinstalling it or contact support.
Still stuck? Contact Ugritone support and include your OS version, DAW version, plugin version, and a brief description of the issue. We’re happy to help!
